WARRANTY

1. “Warranty” means this document; “we”, “us” and “our” refers to KUSI KIM; “Certificate” means the KUSI KIM Certificate that accompanies this Warranty; “Diamond” means the diamond identified in the Certificate; “Jewellery” means the item of jewellery containing the Diamond; “you” and “your” refers to you, the first purchaser of the Jewellery, and the first person to whom you give the Jewellery during your lifetime.

2. If the Diamond is not as promised in the Certificate, we will, at your option, promptly:
- accept the return of the Jewellery and provide you with a refund of the full purchase price; or
- replace the Diamond with a diamond that meets or exceeds each of the characteristics warranted.

3. If you make a claim under this Warranty, you must allow us to:
- examine the original copy of the Certificate.
- try and resolve your claim amicably.
- inspect the Jewellery and any gemmological evaluation on which you base your claim.
- remove the Diamond from the Jewellery for gemmological examination; and
- have the Diamond examined by an independent gemmological laboratory.

4. We will respond to your claim as soon as possible, but no later than 45 days after we have received your claim.

5. This Warranty is subject to the conditions stated in the Certificate and those stated below:
- this Warranty covers only the lack of conformity of the Diamond with each of the characteristics stated on the Certificate at the time of sale and does not cover damage to the Diamond that occurs after the date of sale.
- the condition of the Diamond will be determined by examination under no greater than 10x magnification and by standard gemmological techniques.
- if we have provided you with a plot or diagram mapping the interior or exterior features of the Diamond, that plot or diagram has been provided for identification purposes only and the presence or absence of a feature on the plot or diagram will not be covered by this Warranty.
- the accuracy of angles and linear measurements will be determined by the following tolerances: ±0.2º and ±0.02 millimetres; and
- the absence of enhancements will be determined by gemmological tests generally in use at the time of sale.

At KUSI KIM we pride ourselves for taking meticulous craftmanship and above standard quality of our jewellery. We offer manufacturing warranty for all our handmade pieces for purchased within 6 months in time. Our warranty includes repair of manufacturing faults or defects of any piece of jewellery.
Any damages due to natural wear or a change of mind in designs are not covered in our warranty, and service charges will be at your expense. Any repair and alterations of design in this nature will be made after a careful consultation to ensure your highest satisfaction.
Any purchases of our fine jewellery collections online are also covered under this manufacture warranty. Any refunds or exchanges due to a manufacture fault can be made, please contact us by info@kusikim.com. We do not offer refunds due to change of mind, the amount will be issued as store credit.
 
EXCLUSIONS TO KUSI KIM’S WARRANTY AGAINST DEFECTS
- KUSI KIM’s warranty does not apply to items that have been handled against our care instructions or damaged by accident or misuse. See the end of this warranty document for care instructions.
- All metals will tarnish over time, but it will happen much faster if they have contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulphur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine, and acidic skin pH The amount of tarnishing (oxidation) that occurs depends on your skin and jewellery care habits. Tarnishing due to the above reasons, is not covered under this warranty.

REPAIR PROCESS
For repair or resizing inquiries, please contact us before you send it to us. Our studio team will guide you through a personalized process, which may vary based on the case. When sending a piece for assessment, include your original order number, proof of purchase and return address. If you are returning a piece for resizing, please ensure that the new size is accurately measured. We recommend using a courier service with full insurance for return shipments. Please ensure the shipment requires a signature upon delivery and is properly packaged and padded to prevent damage during transit. We will notify you upon receiving your piece, provide an estimated cost, and inform you of the expected turnaround time.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR KUSI KIM JEWELLERY
- Always handle your KUSI KIM jewellery with care.
- We recommend that you do not wear your jewellery: whilst bathing, swimming, or sleeping; or during sporting activities. Avoid contact with agents such as perfume, salty air, sulphur, skin creams, hairspray, chlorine, and acidic skin pH that can dramatically accelerate tarnishing of jewellery.
- To dry your jewellery polish with soft polishing cloth. Use your polishing cloth regularly to keep your jewellery looking new.
- Always undo the clasp to remove your bracelet or bangle.
 
HOW TO STORE FOR YOUR KUSI KIM JEWELLERY
- Jewellery should be stored away from natural sunlight and heat, in a lined jewellery box or a tarnish-resistant pouch.
- Do not store your jewellery in bathrooms as this will make your jewellery tarnish faster.
